2XKOᵀᴹ x Becky Cloonan Akali Poster

To celebrate Akali's launch, 2XKO has partnered with five incredible women artists on a limited edition poster collection, each highlighting the Rogue Assassin in their own sharp style.

Becky Cloonan is an American comic book artist and writer known for her manga-influenced artwork who has worked across nearly every major publisher in the industry. In 2012, she became the first woman to draw the main Batman title for DC. Her accolades include a 2013 Eisner Award win for her self-published one-shot The Mire, multiple additional Eisner nominations, and the prestigious Inkpot Award from San Diego Comic-Con in 2023.

“I wanted my illustration to highlight Akali's fierce protection and devotion to Ionia, and her connection to the magic of the land. I've been really inspired by shin hanga prints lately, and wanted to bring in the texture and organic color variation found in woodblock prints to underscore the theme. Akali is such a dynamic character, it was a joy to try and capture some of her spark!”
